Police: Speed likely played role in fatal vehicle rollover in Oro Valley

ORO VALLEY, Arizona — A man has died after his vehicle rolled over on an Oro Valley road.

Oro Valley police say 32-year-old Christopher Farmer was driving near the intersection of Oracle and Hardy roads on Saturday around 6 a.m. when his Ford Focus rolled.

Police say Farmer was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other injuries and no other vehicles were involved.

Police say initial evidence indicates excessive speed may have been a contributing factor. It's unknown if alcohol was a factor.

Police are still investigating.
