LOS ANGELES — A fire at a Los Angeles apartment building has forced 30 people from their damaged homes.
City News Service says the blaze was reported about 9:15 p.m. Thursday in a two-story building in Panorama City.
It took firefighters about a half-hour to knock down the flames.
Crews forced their way into apartments and searched on their hands and knees for possible victims.
Three apartments burned and five others were damaged.
One woman who lived in the building and two firefighters were treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
