New Hampshire consumers have updated resource to compare health plans

CONCORD, New Hampshire — A website aimed at educating New Hampshire residents about the federal health care overhaul law has been overhauled itself, and now includes a new insurance plan comparison tool.

The website, CoveringNewHampshire.org, allows consumers to look at the 43 individual health plans side-by-side and compare them based on benefits and out-of-pocket expenses. Consumers can also compare dental plans, and there are new features aimed at small business owners as well.

The site also includes information about where to find insurance agents or others who can assist consumers with signing up for plans.

The current enrollment period under the Affordable Care Act ends Jan. 31.
