Fire severely damages Sioux Falls apartment building; no injuries reported, cause unknown

SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota — An apartment building in southwestern Sioux Falls has been severely damaged by fire.

The Argus Leader reports (http://argusne.ws/1KHhhqI ) the fire was reported at about 7 p.m. on Sunday at Penbrooke Place apartments. The fire was mostly subdued by crews by 7:40 p.m.

Residents were evacuated from the third floor of the 36-unit apartment building.

Authorities say no injuries were reported from the fire and no cause has been determined.
