Police: 2-car crash leaves man dead, 3 others injured; both drivers had suspended licenses

HARTFORD, Connecticut — Police say a South Windsor man is dead and three others were hurt in a two-car collision.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene in Hartford at about 2 a.m. Saturday. They found a Toyota Camry and a Volkswagen Jetta with extensive damage.

Deputy Chief Brian Foley says 27-year-old Devan Harris was driving alone in the Volkswagen at the time of the crash. He died at the scene.

Fire officials removed two people from the Toyota. Bystanders helped a third person out.

All three were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. They are expected to survive.
