PUTNEY, Vermont — Firefighters say a fire that destroyed a house in Putney, Vermont, is suspicious.
No one was hurt in the fire, which happened Wednesday afternoon. There was no one inside at the time. The first floor housed storage space and a garage and the second floor was residential.
The Brattleboro Reformer reports (http://bit.ly/1yveso7) state police and the Division of Fire Safety have been asked to investigate the fire.
