ST. LOUIS — An eastern Missouri man has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for producing child pornography and distributing it over the Internet.

A federal judge on Monday sentenced 32-year-old Gary Dotson of Pacific. He pleaded guilty in August to several child pornography-related charges.

Court documents show that Dotson produced child pornography involving one victim and tried to produce pornography with another. Both victims were under the age of 12. Federal authorities say Dotson also received and transmitted child pornography over the Internet.
