WALHALLA, South Carolina — A man wanted for a fatal shooting nearly a year ago in an Oconee County bar has been arrested in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Deputies said in a news release that U.S. marshals found 31-year-old Dw'Ntraquis Rashaad Campbell riding a bicycle on Friday and surrounded him and took him into custody.

Investigators say Campbell shot 29-year-old Anthony Holden in March at Sonny's Bar and Grill near Seneca. Some of the more than 100 people at the bar told deputies Campbell and other men who left in an SUV were making gang signs.

Campbell is being held without bond as he awaits an extradition hearing from North Carolina. It wasn't known if he had an attorney.
