Casper man sentenced to 48-60 years in prison for inappropriately touching 14-year-old girl

CASPER, Wyoming — A 49-year-old Casper man with a history of sexually abusing children has been sentenced to 48 to 60 years in prison for inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (http://goo.gl/PYCgwS ) Raul Trujillo was sentenced Thursday after previously pleading guilty to four counts of third-degree sexual abuse of a minor.

Investigators say Mills police arrested Trujillo in October following reports he inappropriately touched a girl on several occasions in Casper and took pornographic photos of the child. The abuse started in May and continued until Trujillo's arrest.

Prosecutor Stephanie Hambrick says Trujillo has previously served two prison sentences for sexual abuse and had been out of prison for only two months before the abuse in this case began.

Trujillo declined to speak at the hearing.
