FLAGSTAFF, Arizona — An Arkansas fugitive also wanted in Utah for allegedly raping a child has been arrested in northwestern Arizona.
U.S. Marshals Service officials say 46-year-old Troy Clark was taken into custody Wednesday as he left a house in Chloride.
They say he was using a false identity and had drastically changed his appearance.
Clark is being held in the Mohave County Jail pending extradition.
Federal authorities say Clark was wanted by the Weber County Sheriff's Office in Utah on suspicion of two counts of rape of a child.
He also was wanted out of Pulaski County and Little Rock, Arkansas for violating his requirement to register as a sex offender and conditions of his probation.
Clark was on probation after having been convicted of failing to register as a sex offender.
