BRENHAM, Texas — A man has been found guilty of official oppression in the assault of an inmate while he was a Washington County jailer in 2013.

KHOU-TV (http://bit.ly/1gY3HCX ) reports Christopher Kulow was convicted Wednesday for the incident. Prosecutors say an inmate filed a complaint in 2013 stating Kulow assaulted him.

Authorities say a surveillance camera at the Washington County jail captured Kulow repeatedly punching Gregory Webb, who was strapped into a restraint chair.

Kulow was dismissed as a jailer following his arrest.

His sentencing hearing has been scheduled for Oct 2.
