Inmate dies in Del. prison; foul play not suspected

DOVER, Delaware — Officials say an inmate serving a one-year sentence at a Delaware prison has died.

Fifty-one-year-old William B. Oliver died at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital early Saturday. Corrections officials say Oliver had been serving a one-year sentence at the Morris Community Corrections Center in Dover for a parole violation stemming from a shoplifting charge.

Oliver's body has been turned over to the State Medical Examiner for autopsy. Officials say no foul play is suspected.
