Yukon police officer arrested in Oklahoma City on allegation of assaulting woman

OKLAHOMA CITY — A Yukon police officer has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City police say 29-year-old Zachary Dean Bradford was arrested for assault and battery on Saturday.

Yukon police say Bradford is suspended with pay and declined further comment. Online court records do not list an attorney for Bradford.

Oklahoma City Police Capt. Paco Balderrama says the woman and witnesses told officers that the woman was in a car outside a northwest Oklahoma City home where a party was underway when Bradford came out of the house and knocked on the car window. The woman said she opened the door and Bradford dragged her out of the car by her hair, then left the scene on foot.

Bradford was arrested about two miles from the scene.
