DEARBORN, Michigan — AAA Michigan says gas prices statewide have gone up for the third consecutive week.

The Dearborn-based auto club says that the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was about $2.52 per gallon on Sunday. That's 9 cents more per gallon than last week's average and down about 76 cents from the same point last year.

The lowest average price was about $2.40 per gallon in the Marquette area, while the highest average was about $2.56 in the Jackson area.
