HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pennsylvania — A jury has found a central Pennsylvania man misused a county prison computer while he was an inmate.

But it deadlocked Thursday on whether 25-year-old Adam Hardin used the Blair County Prison computer to email threats to bomb the county courthouse and disrupt the local water supply.

The Altoona Mirror (http://bit.ly/1MonUO6) reports Hardin faces sentencing Oct. 26 on two counts of unlawful use of a computer.

Prosecutors must now decide whether to retry him on 14 other counts.

Harley acknowledged hacking into the computer but testified he taught other inmates how to use it, too, and says one of them must have sent the threats.

The October 2013 threats caused the Altoona Water Authority to warn thousands of customers not to use tap water for about two days.
