Deputies say death of man whose body was found in street outside North Charleston suspicious


NORTH CHARLESTON, South Carolina — Dorchester County sheriff's deputies say the death of a man found on a street just outside North Charleston is being treated as suspicious.

Local media outlets report that the man, who did not have any identification, had been riding his bike along Ashley Phosphate Road, but there was no sign of a collision.

The body was found about 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
