BLOOMINGTON, Illinois — A Bloomington man has been charged with distributing child pornography after his arrest at his home.

The Illinois Attorney General's office said in a news release Thursday that 30-year-old David R. Mariani faces 10 felony counts of distribution of child pornography.

According to The Pantagraph in Bloomington (http://bit.ly/1CGZoRd ), Mariani was arrested Wednesday as part of a statewide operation.

He appeared in court Thursday to have bond set but has not yet entered a plea. He is being held on $3 million bond.

Defense attorney Steve Skelton says only that he plans to file a motion related to Mariani's bond.

Attorney General Lisa Madigan says in the news release that the statewide operation targets people who trade child pornography online.
