SAITAMA, Japan — Zlatan Ljubijankic scored the only goal on Saturday as Urawa Reds beat treble winners Gamba Osaka 1-0 to keep its lead in the J-League standings.

Ljubijankic scored with six minutes left in regulation as Urawa extended its unbeaten run to nine games while ending Gamba's win streak at six.

Urawa improved to 23 points, four ahead of Gamba.

Urawa goalkeeper Shusaku Nishikawa saved a free kick by Yasuhito Endo in the second half. Takashi Usami, who had scored in six straight games to tie a club record, was also held off the scoresheet by Nishikawa.

Elsewhere, Yoshinori Muto scored with four minutes left in regulation as FC Tokyo beat Kawasaki Frontale 2-1 to move into second place on 20 points.

Yoshito Okubo scored his career 140th goal for Kawasaki.

Sanfrecce Hiroshima beat Vegalta Sendai 2-0, and Shimizu S-Pulse and Kashiwa Reysol finished in a goalless draw. Ventforet Kofu edged Kashima Antlers 1-0 on Junya Ito's goal in the first minute of the second half.

In other games, Nagoya Grampus beat Shonan Bellmare 3-0 for its third win in four games, and Montedio Yamagata edged Yokohama F Marinos 1-0.
