CHICAGO — A 21-year-old Chicago man who has been in trouble twice before for impersonating a police officer is accused of doing it again.

Police say officers investigating a call of shots fired pulled over Vincent Richardson's vehicle Friday. They say Richardson and 21-year-old passenger Dantrell Moore were wearing bulletproof vests and had a police duty belt, a scanner, BB guns and a stun gun.

Both were arrested and have been charged with impersonating a police officer. It wasn't immediately clear if they have attorneys.

In 2009, then 14-year-old Richardson dressed up as an officer and went on patrol for several hours with an officer. He was found guilty of posing as an officer again when he was 19 after trying to buy police clothes in 2013.
