Police find New York man, 23, dead on a front lawn after apparent hit-and-run crash

GREENBURGH, New York — Police say a 23-year-old New York man is dead after an apparent hit-and-run crash.

Authorities say Darryl Chung was found dead on the front lawn of a home early Tuesday. A passing driver found the Greenburgh resident's body at about 6 a.m.

Police say he was likely hit from behind between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday. Investigators are asking residents to be on the lookout for a vehicle with damage to its front bumper and one of its headlights.

It's unclear when Chung was struck and no driver stopped or reported the incident.
