BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut — Police say an argument that broke out as customers were leaving an after-hours club in Bridgeport triggered a fight that ended when two people were shot and wounded.
Police say 33-year-old Christian Roque was shot numerous times in the torso early Saturday. He was taken to Bridgeport Hospital by ambulance. Twenty-three-year-old Luis Santiago arrived at the hospital in a car with gunshot wounds.
The hospital lists both in stable condition.
Police say officers arrived in the area of East Main Street at about 4:18 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting.
Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Police did not release additional information, including whether investigators have recovered weapons used in the shootings or the identity of those suspected of opening fire.
