AUBURN, Alabama — Auburn has added power forward Horace Spencer to Bruce Pearl's first full recruiting class.
Pearl said Wednesday the five-man group is "a very complete class that will be the foundation for the future of Auburn's basketball."
Spencer is ranked as the No. 53 prospect nationally in the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-9, 215-pounder from Warminster, Pennsylvania spent the past two seasons at Findlay Prep in Nevada. He averaged 10.4 points and 9.4 rebounds last season.
Spencer joins three four-star recruits in guard T.J. Dunans, forward Danjel Purifoy and guard New Williams and three-star guard Bryce Brown.
Pearl says Spencer "brings toughness, athleticism and the ability to defend and rebound at a very high level."
