OKLAHOMA CITY — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning and a winter storm advisory for parts of Oklahoma.
A storm warning is being issued from 6 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Monday for the western two-thirds of the Panhandle where up to six inches of snowfall is possible. The storm advisory is for the remainder of the Panhandle and for northwestern Oklahoma where the weather service says two to five inches of snow may accumulate.
The weather service says snow could begin falling Saturday night and may be heavy and blowing, causing low visibility and leading to snow-packed and icy roads and bridges that make for hazardous driving conditions.
