Authorities investigate cause of Darlington house fire that claimed woman's life

DARLINGTON, South Carolina — Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire that killed a Darlington woman.

Area media outlets report the fire occurred early Thursday morning. When firefighters arrived, the front of the small home in Darlington was engulfed in flames. The victim was found at the rear of the house.

Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee identified her as 56-year-old Naomi Flynn.

Darlington police and the State Law Enforcement Division are investigating.
