COLUMBUS, Mississippi — Gov. Phil Bryant will speak at the winter commencement at the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus.
The ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Dec. 12 in Rent Auditorium in Whitfield Hall on the MUW campus.
About 105 students are expected to get diplomas.
Bryant was sworn in as Mississippi's 64th governor January 2012. Before becoming the state's chief executive, he was lieutenant governor from 2008-2011. Bryant also served as state auditor and served in the Mississippi House of Representatives for five years.
