ST. ALBANS, West Virginia — The State Fire Marshal's Office has identified two people who died in a house fire in St. Albans.

The office says 59-year-old Paul D. Wilson and 50-year-old Lisa Dillon died in Wednesday's fire, which was caused by "careless smoking."

Kanawha County Deputy Emergency Services Director C.W. Sigman has said firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly once they arrived, but the house was heavily damaged inside and out.
