PHOENIX — A Fountain Hills woman who pleaded no contest to sexual abuse and aggravated assault has been sentenced to a decade of supervised probation.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 26-year-old Frances Julia Hunnicutt was sentenced Tuesday.

She has already spent more than 150 days in custody.

Hunnicutt was indicted by a grand jury in April 2013.

The panel concluded she had knowingly engaged in sexual contact with a female victim twice in November 2012 and physically injured the same woman.

Hunnicutt's doctor says she has been living in a psychiatric treatment facility in Mesa for the past two years and continues to undergo therapy.
