FLORISSANT, Missouri — Suburban St. Louis police are investigating a bank robbery.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1OmCEPF ) reports that the robbery happened Friday afternoon at the Citizens National Bank in Florissant.
Police said the man went into the bank, showed a handgun to the teller and demanded money. The teller gave the man an undetermined amount of money, and the suspect left the bank on foot. A witness saw him get into a nearby dark-colored sport utility vehicle with a temporary Missouri license tag.
Authorities are looking for the suspect. Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
