PORTLAND, Oregon — The Multnomah County sheriff's office says that a body found in the Willamette River near Portland's Broadway Bridge is that of a 43-year-old Vancouver, Washington man.

Lt. Steve Alexander said Tuesday that the county medical examiner found no signs of foul play and says that Brian Jay Burnett drowned.

The body was spotted Monday evening by a passer-by.
