LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — Police in Little Rock say a third teenager has been arrested in the shooting death of a woman in her driveway while she held her toddler.
Officer Richard Hilgeman says a 15-year-old was arrested Wednesday for capital murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and theft of property in the death of 27-year-old Eunice Lopez.
Police say Lopez was shot Jan. 31 while holding her 2-year-old toddler in the driveway of her home. Investigators say witnesses reported that the suspects grabbed Lopez's purse, and when it failed to come off her shoulder she was dragged then shot as she fell to the ground.
Police say 18-year-old Ramale Collier and another 15-year-old were arrested after surrendering to police and both face capital murder, assault and theft charges. Both have pleaded not guilty.
