LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles police have arrested two transients suspected in the beating and stabbing death of a homeless man during a weekend brawl.

Sgt. Raul Pedroza tells the Los Angeles Times (http://lat.ms/1ujvDpr) investigators aren't sure what sparked the fatal fight late Saturday in the Westlake neighborhood.

Pedroza says the fight was two against one, and the suspects were armed with a stick and a knife.

The victim, who suffered multiple stab wounds, died at a hospital. He was identified by the coroner's office on Monday as 31-year-old Roland Moore.

Witnesses helped police locate the two suspects at a park near where the fight had broken out.

The newspaper says 41-year-old Arthur James Deblanc and 25-year-old Sarah Wilson were arrested on suspicion of murder. It's not immediately known if they have lawyers.
