JONESBORO, Arkansas — Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson says the Sun Belt Conference champions have signed 27 players from 11 different states on National Signing Day.

The Red Wolves, who were 9-4 last season and have won at least a share of the Sun Belt in four of the last five seasons, signed 15 high school players, nine from junior colleges and three Football Bowl Subdivision transfers.

A pair of quarterbacks is among the signees for an Arkansas State team dealing with the graduation of starter Fredi Knighten. They include 6-foot-4, 220-pound sophomore transfer Justice Hansen from Butler (Kan.) Community College and prep standout Logan Bonner from Rowlett, Texas.

The Red Wolves signed 13 offensive players, 11 defensive and three listed as athletes overall.
