Police say 2nd person dies in motorcycle collision in Manchester

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — Police say a second person has died in a motorcycle-car collision in Manchester, New Hampshire, that happened over the weekend.

Police say 58-year-old Richard Frink of Manchester was eastbound the afternoon of July 12 on Goffstown Road when his bike collided with the car at Montgomery Street. Police say Frink and his passenger, 51-year-old Debra Smith of Manchester, were seriously injured and taken to a hospital, where Frink died.

Smith had been in intensive care at the Boston Medical Center. Police said she died Wednesday.

Police said both Frink and Smith were not wearing helmets.

Police say the driver of the car, 58-year-old Mary Johnson, and her passenger, 50-year-old Robert Uhmel, were not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
