CONCORD, New Hampshire — New Hampshire's Endowment of Health has awarded another round of grants aimed at raising awareness of early childhood issues.

The endowment recently awarded $158,000 to the Children's Behavioral Health Collaborative and New Futures. They money will be used to help monitor progress and create momentum for a statewide plan to transform New Hampshire's fragmented support system for children with mental health and substance abuse problems.

It also awarded just under $17,000 to New Hampshire Public Television to co-produce a documentary discussing the diverse needs of New Hampshire's young children and promising approaches to meeting them. The production will serve as a local companion piece to a national documentary called "The Raising of America." Both will air in the spring.
