NEW ORLEANS — Mayor Mitch Landrieu's office says New Orleans is launching its annual series of community budget meetings aimed at gathering residents' opinions on spending priorities for the 2015 fiscal year.

Landrieu calls it the Budgeting for Outcomes process.

According to Monday's City Hall news release, the mayor will again hold a budget meeting in each city council district along with the district council member. Others set to attend are the city's deputy mayors, police chief Ronal Serpas, fire chief Tim McConnell and other department and agency heads.

The first of the meetings is set for Monday and will cover priorities for the city's district C, which includes the French Quarter.
