JACKSON, Wyoming — Jackson authorities suspect arson in an April 19 fire at a strip mall.

The fire damaged six businesses.

While final confirmation waits lab results, Jackson Police Cpl. Andy Pearson says it was probably started by arson.

Pearson says the fire appears to have started in furniture left outside the front of one store.

Pearson declined to disclose to the Jackson Hole News & Guide (http://bit.ly/1TmdOAx ) any specifics on why investigators suspect arson.

He says it's likely to be another three weeks or so before an official determination is announced.
