LISBON, Portugal — Penafiel beat nine-man Setubal 2-0 on Saturday for its first points since earning promotion to the Portuguese league.
Striker Helder Guedes converted a penalty in the 11th minute to give Penafiel the lead after he was fouled by Miguel Lourenco.
Setubal defender Luis Advincula received a direct red card for a foul on Rafa Sousa in the 51st.
Andre Fontes scored Penafiel's second goal in the 73rd before Setubal's Manu was sent off in the 77th for his second yellow card.
Penafiel lost its first four games.
Also, Braga drew 1-1 at Nacional.
Guimaraes leads the league after drawing 1-1 with Pacos Ferreira on Friday. Rio Ave, Benfica and FC Porto are all one point behind before they play on Sunday.
