DEL MAR, California — Ann of the Dance rallied to win the $95,600 CTT & TOC Handicap by a nose at Del Mar on Friday.

Ridden by apprentice Drayden Van Dyke, Ann of the Dance ran 1 3/8 miles on the turf in 2:14.73 and paid $59.20, $21 and $6.40 at 28-1 odds. It was her second start at Del Mar, having finished eighth in the Osunitas Stakes last month after previously racing on the East Coast.

Scarlet Strike returned $11.20 and $5.20 at 11-1 odds, while 8-5 favorite Customer Base was another half-length back in third and paid $2.80 to show.

The victory, worth $56,760, increased Ann of the Dance's career earnings to $196,721, with four wins in 26 starts.
