LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — The National Weather Service in Little Rock says light snow and sleet is falling across much of Arkansas, but with little to no accumulation.

Meteorologist Charles Dalton says a dusting of snow was reported Thursday morning in northeastern Arkansas in the Corning area in Clay County and near Maynard in Randolph County. Dalton says light sleet also fell in Pine Bluff — but that the precipitation has created no travel problems.

Dalton said the system is expected to move out of Arkansas during the afternoon and will be followed by warmer temperatures in the 50s on Friday and near 60 degrees on Saturday.
