NASHVILLE, Tennessee — A woman wanted for carjacking has been caught hours after being added to Tennessee's Top Ten Most Wanted list.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced Tuesday afternoon that 19-year-old Desiree Alexus Hester of Nashville was added to the list. Hester is also charged with aggravated assault. TBI agents took her into custody about 9 p.m.

The agency says Hester, 20-year-old Tyrell Flenoy and three others were pursued by Georgia State Police on Monday into Chattanooga. The TBI said Hester and Flenoy fled, and Hester allegedly committed a carjacking, striking the victim with the car as she fled.

Hester was taken to the Davidson County Jail, where she will be held until she can be transferred to Hamilton County.
