SHARON, Pennsylvania — Witnesses say a man begged for his life before he was fatally shot by a western Pennsylvania man who was having a party to celebrate his own birthday.
The (Sharon) Herald (http://bit.ly/1MFmps1 ) reports 31-year-old Michael Bagnall was ordered to stand trial on first-degree murder and other charges after Friday's preliminary hearing.
Bagnall is charged with shooting a man people described as his friend, 23-year-old Jaylan "Bubby" West, of Farrell, after the men argued at Bagnall's birthday party on Feb. 28 in Sharon.
But witnesses say Bagnall shot West five times even though a witness told them West was "begging for the defendant to stop shooting him, to let him live and he wouldn't come after him."
Bagnall was arrested a few days later by the U.S. Marshal's Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force.
