EUREKA SPRINGS, Arkansas — Authorities say the body of a fisherman who drowned in Beaver Lake in northwest Arkansas has been recovered.

Dive teams from the Carroll County Sheriff's Office and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission recovered the body Sunday in about 30-feet of water near Dam Site Park. The man's name has not been released.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers park ranger Alan Bland told reporters that the man was fishing and was not wearing a flotation device when he drowned about 3 a.m. Sunday.
