MALIBU, California — Lamond Murray Jr. scored 21 points, and Stacy Davis added 18 with 10 rebounds to lead Pepperdine to a 76-58 victory over San Diego on Thursday night.

The Waves (12-7, 5-3 West Coast Conference) have won five of their last six games, and are 8-0 at home for the first time since 1985-86. San Diego (6-12, 1-6) has lost six of its past seven.

Murray was 8 of 15 from the floor. Davis made all 12 of his free-throw attempts and finished on 3-of-8 shooting from the floor. Jett Raines chipped in 12 points for Pepperdine.

Cameron Neubauer and Olin Carter III scored nine points apiece to lead San Diego, which shot 38 percent on 22-of-58 shooting.

Neubauer scored the first points on a layup. The Waves answered with a 17-0 run and had a double-digit lead the rest of the way.
