KNOXVILLE, Tennessee — Tennessee will open spring practice March 24 and conclude with the annual Orange and White game on April 25, the latest the spring game has been played since 1996.
The Vols announced the dates Tuesday.
Tennessee will hold 15 practices before wrapping up with the Orange and White game. The game hasn't been played this late in the year since 1996 when it was played on April 27.
The Vols drew 68,548 to the Orange and White game last year, the second-largest crowd ever for a Tennessee spring game. The Vols had a record 73,801 for the 1986 game coming off a Sugar Bowl victory.
