LISBON, Portugal — Jonas scored two goals to lead Benfica to a 3-0 win over Pacos Ferreira, while Sporting Lisbon missed a chance to take the lead of the Portuguese league on Saturday.

Sporting was held to a goalless draw at Boavista, failing to capitalize on leader FC Porto's 2-2 draw at Moreirense on Friday.

Porto is ahead of Sporting on goal difference, with Benfica two points behind after six rounds.

Jonas scored his first goal for the defending champions after Goncalo Guedes passed him the ball in the 34th.

Guedes scored from Nicolas Gaitan's assist in the 67th, and Guedes set up Jonas again for his second goal in the 73rd.
