BILLINGS, Montana — A 70-year-old Butte man has died of injuries suffered in a crash on Interstate 90 near Homestake Pass.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the man was westbound on I-90 at about 8:30 p.m. Monday and traveling too fast for the wet conditions when he lost control of his car on a curve and struck a guardrail. The patrol says the man wasn't wearing a seat belt and was thrown into the car's back seat.
The Billings Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/TahFWm) the man was taken to St. James Healthcare in Butte, where he died Wednesday. His name hasn't been released.
