Man shot in leg, found outside store, police investigating, seeking public's help

BURLINGTON, Vermont — Burlington police are trying to find out who shot a man in the leg outside a store.

The man, believed to be 31 years old, was struck in a leg outside JR's Corner Store at about 9:45 p.m. Monday. He was found lying on the ground.

The man, whose name was not released, was taken to the University of Vermont Medical Center. His condition was not known.

Police are asking anyone with information about what happened to call 802-658-2700 or Crime Stoppers at 802-864-6666.
