TROY, Missouri — An eastern Missouri woman is accused of involuntary manslaughter after allegedly running over her boyfriend because he refused to move out of the way of her SUV.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1EUEzrr ) reports that 52-year-old William Solomon Horstman of Lincoln County died Tuesday after being hit by a Ford Expedition driven by Paulette Lee Eaker. She is jailed on $500,000 cash-only bond.

Investigators say Horstman was found unconscious Tuesday afternoon inside his Cadillac along the side of a road. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police interviewed Eaker, who allegedly told them she was driving her SUV when she struck Horstman. Police say Eaker drove on and saw Horstman in her rear view mirror, crawling back to his Cadillac.
