GRAND FORKS, North Dakota — A University of North Dakota graduate is working as a physical therapist for U.S. snowboarders in Sochi.
Lisbon native Jason Switzer says working the Olympics has been a lifelong dream. He's on leave from his job for St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho.
Switzer had previously been a trainer with several professional hockey teams. He was tabbed for the slope style snowboard team in Sochi.
Switzer says the key to an Olympic event is treating injuries quickly and effectively. He says his objective with the snowboarders is "keeping them on the mountain."
