NEW CASTLE, Delaware — Delaware State Police have arrested a man they say robbed a bank in New Castle.

On Tuesday afternoon, a man entered the TD Bank on Christiana Road and gave a teller a note demanding cash, troopers said in a news release.

Police say the note implied the robber had a gun. The teller gave the man money and the robber fled on foot.

Detectives say they received a tip about a possible suspect and arrested him at his home.

Twenty-six-year-old Rossi Martin of New Castle has been charged with robbery.
